Frontenac Outfitters Campsites

Our campsites are currently CLOSED as a Tornado destroyed our campsite area last June. We hope to have our clean up completed and re-open May 1st 2012. We apologize for any inconvenience!

Secluded, wooded and waterfront campsites are available on our lovely Pearkes Lake. Frontenac Provincial Park’s 15,000 acres of Canadian Shield Wilderness and its 22- lakes are quickly accessible by two methods:

Drive 1-minute (1.5 km) to Frontenac Park’s Trail Centre on South Otter Lake

Paddle 5- minutes across our Pearkes Lake and portage 150- metres to South Otter Lake

Our campsites are convenient for families wanting to enjoy the park without traveling to the Park’s more remote sites. Our campsites are also perfect for those participating in courses, clinics or tours.

Best yet, we offer a 'FREE' campsite nights stay for those who purchase Kayaks or Canoes from our massive selection of 300 of the World's finest.

Frontenac Outfitters Campsites:

All sites have waterfront access to our Pearkes Lake with wonderful swimming, fishing and wildlife viewing. All sites have picnic tables, fire pits, campsite pads, outhouse facilities which are cleaned & stocked daily.

Specific Campsite Details:

Site #1- Drive to (tent pad: 11' x 12') Big site, connected to site # 2 for large groups (up to 8 people)

Site #2- Drive to (tent pad 12' x 12') Connected to site #1 for large groups (up to 8 people)

Site #3- Drive to (tent pad 12' x 12') an easy access site, perfect for late arrivals

Site #4- Drive to (tent pad 12' x 12') A nice large hillside site that offers great privacy

Site #5- Drive to (tent pad 7.5' x 12') Perfect drive to site, small tent pad for him n' her 

Site #6- Walk-in (tent pad 12' x 12') Currently 'NOT' available - tent pad under construction

Site #7- Walk or Paddle to (tent pad 6.5' x 8.5'), Our only waterfront site has a smaller tent pad, its perfect for couples looking for evening privacy and is a 1- minute walk 

'The Point' (formerly Site # 8) This site is a general use site open to everyone, Swim to the raft/ sit on rocks by the water, have a moonlight dinner cooked over an open fire

Site #9- Walk-in (tent pad 12' x 12') Walk 75 metres to a large secluded hill top site with partial view of Pearkes lake. This site is perfect for larger groups where multiple tents are required

Campsite Rental Terms:

• Payment: via Cash, Debit, Visa or Master Card upon check-in with us
• Check in time: 1:pm to 5:pm (late arrivals must be arranged in advance to receive self serve instructions)
• Check out time: 12: noon
• Damage Deposit: an open end Visa or Master Card damage deposit is required at time of rental
• Deposit Return: when your campsite(s) are left in a clean & satisfactory manner
• Garbage: Campers are responsible for taking out all your trash & leaving your site clean
• Reservations: highly recommended in advance by phone (especially Fri. through Mon. nights & during long weekends). Your Visa or MC credit card number & expiry date is required to secure your campsite booking

Cancellation Policy:

48-hours cancellation notice is required or a 1- day rental fee is applied
