Frontenac Outfitters "Paddle-Team" were some of the very first to test Delta Kayaks soon to be released 16... and "WOW were we ever impressed" with its looks and its exceptional performance. The combination of a shallow Vee hull, moderate rocker and soft chines provides predictable initial stability and endless secondary stability. Delta Kayaks 16's bow has been carefully crafted to include a sharp entry point low on the bow to aid tracking but quickly flares out to create buoyancy and lift in big-water situations. Delta's seat system adjusts a full 4-inches, which ensures excellent contact points to optimize paddler fit to control edging, bracing, rolling etc.  

On Deck "Count Em 4- large hatches" offer endless storage... "this boat eats gear" as it offers almost twice the storage of other sea kayaks its size! Delta 16's new foredeck hatch is positioned conveniently between your knees and is perfectly for GPS and digital camera storage yet does not inhibit wet entries and exits. Curved easy drain bulkheads virtually eliminate water from the cockpit during rescues. A retractable skeg aids tracking while, Kink Free, and tough Seadog foot pedals provide solid bracing.
