Wilderness Systems Tsunami 135 Kayak Review

One of Wilderness Systems most popular day-touring kayaks the Tsunami 135 has been specifically designed for small to medium sized female kayakers in the 99 lb to 155 lb range. Slimmed down in width and offering a smaller cockpit sitting area the Tsunami 135 also provides a lower deck height, which better enables shorter paddlers to efficiently use a less strenuous “low angle paddle stroke”. The end result is a more comfortable, better fitting kayak and a superior paddling experience for smaller framed paddlers.

Wilderness Systems NEW 'Phase 3 Tour' multi-adjustable seat system, adjustable padded thigh braces, 'SlideLock' foot brace system, VCP style bow & stern hatches, bow & stern bulkheads to effectively keep gear in & water out, an 8- inch day hatch mid-ship, paddle holder, bungee deck rigging, reflective perimeter safety lines and soft touch carry handles. The addition of a Sliding Rudder System is optional.

Adding a foot controlled Rudder System increases the boats weight 3- lbs to 51- lbs and costs $220.
