UTM Coordinates: 18 T 0375719 UTM 4927738 N 44 degrees 29.536' W 076 degrees 33.787' Print Directions: We suggest patrons 'NOT' rely solely on GPS co-ordinates for travel. Please also print off and take with you the best route choice listed below: From Kingston:(Sydenham Rd., County Rd. # 9 Route) From Toronto or Montreal: (Hwy #401 Route) Approximate drive time: 2 ½ to 3 hours Distance from 401 @ exit #613: 29.6 km Route Comments: Direct, well-signed, excellent Take Highway # 401 to Kingston. Take Sydenham Rd. exit (#613). Continue north 19-km on Sydenham Rd (County Rd. #9) to the flashing red light. Turn left (west) onto Rutledge Road and travel about 2-km. Turn right (north) onto Wheatly Street, which quickly bares right onto George St. At the north end of Sydenham you will see the FOODLAND Grocery Store (last chance for provisions) & the Sydenham Beer Store, you are now on the Bedford Rd or County Rd #19. Follow Bedford Road 11-km north of the Beer Store to Frontenac Outfitters At F.R. #6674 - Welcome!
Take Hwy #417 west to Hwy #7 and travel towards Carleton Place. Continue on Hwy #7 to Perth and turn left at the 2nd set of lights onto Hwy #43 (across from Canadian Tire). Turn right at the 1st set of lights after the railway tracks onto Hwy #6 (Sunset Blvd). Drive about 4 km before turning left onto Glen Tay Rd. Follow Glen Tay Rd. 3-km until you meet County Rd. #10. Turn right (south) and follow Cnty Rd #10 to Westport. Continue on Cnty Rd. #10 through Westport (33-km) towards Kingston. Turn right at the yellow flashing light onto Rutledge Rd (Cnty Rd. #5). Follow Rutledge Road 8 km to the Village of Sydenham. Turn right (north) onto Wheatly Street, which quickly turns into George St. At the north end of Sydenham you will see a FOODLAND Grocery Store (last chance for provisions) & the Beer Store, you are now on Bedford Road or County Rd #19. Follow Bedford Road 11 km north of the Beer Store to Frontenac Outfitters at F.R. #6674 - Welcome! From Ottawa; (Canoe Lake Road Route) Approximate Drive Time: about 2 hours Distance from Westport: 37 km Route Comments: Poorly identified & mainly gravel from Fermoy south. If you like pretty winding back-county roads with lots of lakes and can follow directions this is a pretty drive and is slightly shorter than the Hwy #10 route Take Hwy #417 west to Hwy #7 and travel towards Carleton Place. 3 km until you meet County Rd. #10. Turn right (south) and follow Cnty Rd. #10 to Westport. At the bottom of Folley Mountain as you enter the village; take your first right turn onto Bedford Street (County Rd #12) for 11-kms to the tiny village of Fermoy. Turn left at Fermoy onto Canoe Lake Road (1 to 2 hours drive time). Note: Canoe Lake Road is a gravel road with poor signage. Simply follow the main road without turning 21 km until you again reach a paved road. This paved junction is where Desert Lake Road intercepts with the Bedford Road (Cnty Rd. #19). Proceed south on Bedford Road 5-km to Frontenac Outfitters at F.R. #6674 - Welcome! Note: Your GPS may indicate 'Little Long Lake Road' as being the shortest way to Frontenac Outfitters, and it is however, we will 'NOT' recommend this route due to its "back road conditions" - except 4 Wheel Drive and SUV type vehicles. From the Northwest; (Hwy #7 junction to Hwy #38 Route) Approximate drive time: 45 minutes Signage: Good Distance from Hwy # 7: 57 km Route Comments: Roads good to excellent, well marked Take Highway #7 to the Highway #38 junction at Sharbot Lake. Turn south on to Highway #38 towards Verona. At the north end of the village of Verona turn left (east) onto Desert Lake Road. Follow Desert Lake Road 12-km until you reach the 'T' junction with County Road #19 (Bedford Rd). Turn right (south) and proceed 5-km to Frontenac Outfitters at F.R. #6674 - Welcome!
